JR. Cups Notes.

All junior cup cars are required to wear a Head and Neck Restraint, have 2-way Radios and Mirrors!

NO EXCEPTIONS!
2006 saw the birth of our first season running a Junior Division with CSR.  Car counts started low but by the end of the season the interest grew at a phenomenal rate.  In 2007 and 2008, 21 kids joined the CSR Junior Super Cup Division!  In 2009, due to the economy car counts suffered. 2010 will be a rebuilding year for CSR.

These kids, from the ages of 8 - 14, will be racing in front of large crowds of fans, often as a prelude to some of the best Late Model talent in the nation.  The kids will learn to be mature both on and off the track in order to race with the series.  From our past record we are expecting great things for the upcoming season.

The junior division will be running under the same rules as the adults with very few exceptions.  The junior division will be running at 680 lbs. with a maximum of 55% left side weight.  The Jr's will be running either a GX270 Honda Carburetor or a Tillison with a restricted plate drilled to the same bore as the GX270.  For 2010 the adjustable jet will be allowed but can not be adjustable from inside the car.

CSR Junior Cup Racing Benefits.

1.  At the track only pit passes are required.  No               additional fees required.
2.  Series registration is paid ONCE per year.
3.  Primarily a Saturday race schedule freeing up                weekends for other family events.
4.  Most importantly "Safety".  Super Cups are one of the safest race vehicles available on the market.
5.  Strict guidelines for keeping bumping and banging to a minimum to keep costs of repairs down and kids safe. Races are usually videotaped and evaluated by the CSR Tech           Officials to ensure fair play.

Kids are expected to read and understand the Rules of the Road in CSR Racing!
